the myth of america
benjamin bratton wants europe to confirm that it is alive, and this desire needs to be granted just for explanatory power, even if europe never looks like its winning until its too late. truly, europe doesnt exist and never has, america invented europe because it needed something to contrast against china, and russia wasnt good enough to look like what europe is supposed to be, a remnant museum of american ontogenesis.
this is because russia is yet another version of america, due to the way the soviets intentionally mimicked the states during the peak of modernism before and during the cold war, now at a steady downfall as is well known. but poking at the false concept of international law isnt enough, because it never actually meant anything for europeans in the first place. europeans got fooled, but they got fooled economically, there was never a soul behind the beurocrat to personally fool, and europeans already perfected this mindset way before america even existed.
only the netherlands and vienna have ever really existed in the form of what europe is supposed to look like according to americans. the former being the actual seat of a society that looks and has always acted as the way that europe today is represented, and the latter in the form of what europe would look like if an external liberal democracy decided to genocide all of its people and frame it, except that europe already pre-emptively genocides its own people.
vienna was the adminsitrative center of a multiethnic empire that existed precisely by suppressing sovereign individuation - the habsburgs were the anti-westphalian project par excellence. this is in a sense also where incestuality comes in, the only time europeans feel that they are allowed to replicate is when they can replicate a nuclear setting that doesnt involve actual socially external contamination, nothing like america's frat system. unlike americans, who don't breed because they are afraid of themselves for being superbritish to the point of self-effacement, europeans dont breed because they dont even care about themselves.
britian is the infinite market of europe, switzerland is the vacation spot for england, germany is the economic engine, benelux is the resting zone, the balkans are ideological experiments, the ukraine is the wall against imperialism, the center is a self-generated museum, the south is a giant beach, but also somehow the seat of the divine. every single location has no federal center because it is its own zone, having had enough time to actually develop as a seperate ontological domain, unlike america who is perpetually stuck heading towards its own shadow as a type of deeply colonial fate. america gaining its own autonomy is a joke, because it is nothing but a perverted reflection of european sovereignity to begin with.
the reason europe still functions isnt because beurocracy as a weapon was mastered, but because nobody has a soul and everybody is already a king. in america, japan, korea, china and russia its different, because there are zones, districts, areas with goals that cannot imagine themselves independently from one another. yet, europe can, for all its history its done nothing but stake war against itself, testing its own logic by surviving inside its own contradictions. in the entire history of america, there has never been one contradiction, because it is merely a late and vengeful projection of britian's historical overfulfilment against france. truly, instead of europe, who everyone knows doesnt exist, america is the one that can be said to never have truly existed.
the king of blurope, a position that europe was forced to embody after it created an internationally connected market in a mistaken attempt to force sovereignity away from america that backfired, will protect westphalia because westphalia is nothing more than ultimate onto-political coldness.
when trump says that he is liberating the middle east, which is an ancient territory that the new powers can barely even comprehend let alone liberate, the u.s elites understand that they are imposing their sovereign rule, they even carry the aesthetics of imposition, so even if they say otherwise or claim that they truly believe that global americanization and dollarization is in the benefit of society, they themselves no longer believe this, because in every incursion they have committed, all they learned is that the gods of every other country are stronger than their own god (this is partially because their messiah hasnt even arrived yet - they are waiting on israel to conquer the gulf so that it can finally reign in satan, who may or may not actually begin his coming to life in china).
america has a large understanding of the symbolic other/outside because they are constantly narrowing themselves. so, technically, the elites maintain the idea of westphalia because it helps them feel better about imposition, they arent imposing westphalia, they're imposing its downfall as an idea about its standard that doesnt exist anymore. so to say, they may be normalizing a standard they dont believe in. trump moving into iran, holding his fist in the air, waving an american flag, this is all an exhibition, a pitiful display meant to let china know that history is theirs.
the real connection that europe maintains between all of this regions that america cant imagine, it isnt european political sovereignity, which unlike america has never existed in europe, but christianity, a meaning-making engine that was decimated in europe through modernity (which at the time of arrival wasnt even american, but xenological, literally capitalism from he heavens above, this was a capitalism unlike what spain, france, england or portugal had managed to create).
europe blamed modernity's takeover of christianity on the jews, and as arendt claims, demonstrated disagreement towards them by creating the image of the migrant in the jewish disapora, and the image of the tyrant in a "dark napoleon" (hitler) who was meant to liberate europe, no longer through theology but through the regional supremacy of europe itself (which is where the real industrial-nation-state was born, not in france's revolution). arendt argues that statelessness itself became the conceptual ground for totalitarianism because rights were shown to depend entirely on national belonging, and in a sense this is true, however the german nation-state was an attempt at replicating french ideology abroad by contesting its supremacy, which is why the germans, influenced by protestant hallucinogenic schizophrenia were culturally prone to never be able to construct a nation that actually guaranteed the polis as a basic protective class. this is all already well articulated in fichte's addresses to the german nation
christianity itself has no political divinity symbolically, only pure divinity, all it has ever done is created a messianic loop where it has perfected its own self-justification. america is automatically zionist because even with the christian shell, other than the ebonic community who isnt (because for them history has already happened) the american elite are once again denying the messianic moment, and in this sense, they are satanists, not just figuratively, but literally, with their desire to animate stone-raised golems to rule over the world, bringing hell not to themselves, but vengefully to europe.
this history and development, even if cultivated by them, makes americans uncomfortable, because for them, jews are everywhere in the image of aliens, yet, the first aliens who will arrive on earth will actually be humans, not politically migrant subjects, but artificial intelligence, which will stand for the increasing american imagination about a political subject of intergalacticity that doesn't exist, rooted in an idea of life as simultaneously a fully formal deterministic matter, but also something deeply vitalist, due to the way that life is still ironically conceived as an independent force in the world.
in a sense, america's cosmic imagination is partially rooted in its impossible desire to liberate itself from its english roots. this is because ideology has never had a historical manifestation, it was a momentary invention during a liberation movement between two groups of british people, both so ultimately arrogant in such an ultimately european manner, that one of them had to invent a fake religion from space just to justify its own continuity on a territory and not fall into its own self-invented slavery, knowing the very brutality of its own nature. in a sense, every english monarchical fall since this point has been caused excluviely by american hegemony, which killed the queen only so that it itself could become the britian of the world. even now with trump, the monarchy is only returning to the form it has always valorized, away from the idea of a republic which can only exist in places like the netherlands, france and bulgaria.
sovereignty is just a one dimensional economic analysis at this point, as in the question of totalitarianism. the world market itself, eu's creation, actually backfires because it has a single handed sovereign function, there is no longer any externality in power. but this didnt arise, as arendt or fukuyama claim, because international law was either so tyrannically eradicated, or so hopefully exemplified, that power was finally divorced from responsibility.
rather, something far darker happened, and that's that europe's creation of a global market inserted the very xenological or alien variables that made political accountability impossible. the factions dispersed throughout the world are now allowed to roleplay as ultimate sovereigns, so kingly that kings would die from a heartattack from the lack of kingliness that they display compared to today's secretly kingly beurocrat enterpreuners, partially because responsibility was only ever imagined by europe, and it only ever looked like something along the lines of being able to fix one another's geopositional mistakes.
to account for something in the world for europe was to account for an error on account of an advirsery. now that the gulf, the states, the eastlands and the arctic have all been allowed to dominate the world without ever meeting one another but governed by a statistical proxy or flow of matter, europe, a false construct, has shut down its gates because its still figuring out how it wants to avoid being responsible for itself rather than for an adversery. once europe figures this out, there will be no china, no america, no gulf, and especially no stupid third alliance, because europe continues to be the only non-protagonist in the history of the planet. europe will not show islamic republic levels of existential terrorism, but something even far beyond this, it will literally eat the world itself, it will arrive in countries and stage don quixhotian conquest over wallmarts, hyperscales, google deskboards and windmills, it will steal women, fight dragons, and brush up against everything that sovereignity doesnt think it is.
the real european war is only about to really start, because europe's messiah is already pre-processed, unlike the israeli-american apparatus it doesn't need to endlessly justify its lack of imagination, we kill everything in the name of jesus, who we also apparently killed. americans have never felt failure in their life because british people also have never, and this is because the british, unlike say the dutch or french, arent an actual soul-component of europe, they're a peripherial conduit for european activity, so unlike the african americans who authentically experience christianity, america as a totality cant imagine such a gnostic form of power just yet. in this sense, trump is their first religious figure, a figure of a new theology being built around corporate power as fully secular. in this sense, corporations themselves in america operate differently, because they have no more teleological character, their cosmicity is a cosmology, their politics are a data analysis board and so on.
as for the dutch themselves, the reason i consider them a pivotal moment to europe's knightly character is that, even if dutch east india is the first business congolomerate in the world, corporeality wasnt the same as american multinationals. the point isnt that europe got fully coerced into having to import modernity as a base superstructure, its more that even its corporations had a guild-like character that america fails to incorporate because its this meta-merchantry that fails to actually even create an "institution" as international law understands it. the dutch pivot is actually the moment european corporate identity briefly escaped its knightly character before being reabsorbed by the same theological logic that has underpinned european history.
european history, much like the israeli messianic satan is only ever really starting and continously building up. european history doesn't really ever exist, so europe never has to fight for anything. europe doesn't need to show itself, it only ever has to excuse why its on vacation. if you want to ever look at what a european would be if they weren't a king-nation archetype, look no further than the intellectual jewish-german disaphora, who have already achieved heracliatian divorcement and total ontological self-commitment. in this sense, europe is nothing more than a single jew.
this is the story of europe in fourty years, written in the fashion of a european declaration for self-eradication. the "history" of europe is one where europe itself has fetishistically declared its own existential insignificance pre-emptively so that every battle is successively won only in hindsight, it is no different this time.
